Since 2002, the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Corporate Equality Index has identified some of the nation's leading organizations who maintain inclusive workplaces for lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgender employees.

Over 584 of the largest and most successful companies in the U.S. were rated, including many in the Fortune 600 and 1000. Ratings were based on criteria including non-discrimination policies, diversity training, benefits, and positive activity in the LGBT community.
