Insurance Coverage and Practice Symposium: San Francisco Insurance Group Partner Matthew Foy has been selected to serve as the Chair of DRI's 2011 Insurance Coverage and Practice Symposium ("ICPS") to be held in New York City on December 15-16, 2011. Mr. Foy is a member of DRI's Steering Committee and also served as the Vice Chair of the 2010 ICPS. The annual symposium includes regulators, practitioners and insurance industry leaders who provide insight into national trends, analysis of important decisions, and creative best practices guidance relating to first-and third-party coverage.
Insurance Coverage and Claims Institute: In addition to Chairing the ICPS, Mr. Foy is presenting at DRI's upcoming Insurance Coverage and Claims Institute ("ICCI") on the topic of "Long Tail Claims – Recurring Issues and Recent Developments" and will analyze the complex issues insurers must face when handling catastrophic long-tail claims.
