Mercedes Colwin to Present at IACP U.S. Regional Conference

On May 28, Gordon & Rees New York office managing partner Mercedes Colwin will present at the International Association of Claim Professionals (IACP) U.S. Regional Conference in New York.

The conference, co-sponsored by Gordon & Rees, will be held at The Union League Club of New York. Colwin’s presentation titled, “Legalized Marijuana: Weeding out the Risk – How to Prevent Employers from Going up in Smoke,” will address topics such as changes in the marijuana use laws and accommodating employees with medical marijuana needs.

The IACP “provides a forum for senior Claim leaders from across the globe to build relationships with their peers, enhance their knowledge of strategic claim issues and trends, freely exchange views and ideas in order to improve the development, leadership and professionalism of its members and foster goodwill and better business among insurance organizations worldwide.”
