Edmund Cooke, Jr. Speaks at 2012 Federal Diversity Summit

Washington, D.C. senior counsel Edmund Cooke, Jr. was a speaker at the 2012 Federal Diversity Summit, The National Coalition for Equity in Public Service, held April 4-5, 2012 at the Marriott Washington Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. 

Mr. Cooke participated in a panel addressing the topic of "Implementing the Agency-Specific Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plans," which was moderated by Veronica Villalobos, Director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion with the Office Of Personnel Management (OPM). 

In his labor and employment practice, Mr. Cooke specializes in diversity counseling and providing assistance with complex disputes and investigations from federal regulatory agencies and civil rights groups.  Additionally, he assists clients in designing and implementing diversity plans and employment audits, crisis communication, and diversity supplier programs.
