Jonathan Miles is senior counsel, with a wide range of litigation and appellate experience in state and federal courts.  His experience includes:

• Banking and Securities.  Advising banks on secured lending issues and in disputes over depository agreements, trust management, and garnishments.  Defending broker/dealers in investment suitability disputes and enforcement of non-competition agreements.


• Business Dissolution and Shareholder Disputes.    Advising business owners on transactional and corporate governance issues and representing parties in litigation, mediation, and arbitration.


• Complex Commercial.  Representing clients in litigation, mediation, and arbitration of disputes, including antitrust, deceptive trade practices, intellectual property, oil and gas, and real estate. 


• Construction.  Representing owners, contractors, and design professionals in litigation, mediation, arbitration, and contracting matters involving commercial construction projects.


• Personal Injury and Product Liability.  Conducting investigations and litigation preparation arising out of accidents for an interstate railroad.  Defending a tire manufacturer in tire failure cases and an electrical component manufacturer in asbestos exposure cases.

In addition to his litigation and appellate experience, Mr. Miles has taught law school classes in secured transactions and bankruptcy, remedies, and contract drafting.
