A partner at Gordon & Rees since 1998, Steven B. Bitter is a member of the firm's Insurance Coverage practice group and specializes in advice and litigation on behalf of insurers with regard to their varied business needs.  Mr. Bitter is the co-head of the Insurance Coverage Group in the San Diego office of Gordon & Rees.

The focus of Mr. Bitter's practice is handling complex insurance coverage and bad faith litigation on behalf of insurers.  Mr. Bitter has trial, appellate, mediation and arbitration experience in both state and federal court, defending and prosecuting on behalf of insurance companies' most challenging and complex problems.

Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Mr. Bitter was a member of the litigation department for a public utility company in San Diego, California.  Mr. Bitter also previously worked at a mid-sized law firm in San Diego.
