John Hughes is a litigation partner in Gordon & Rees’ San Francisco office. Mr. Hughes joined Gordon & Rees in 1983, and is a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort, Tort & Product Liability and Maritime Practice Groups. He is chairman of the Partners-Associates Liaison Committee.

He has broad experience in state and federal court focusing on product liability, asbestos/toxic torts, and trial work.

Mr. Hughes has tried numerous jury and non-jury cases to verdict, and has successfully handled several matters before the courts of appeal.
