Biography

Scott Sokol is senior counsel with GRSM. Although he is based in California, Scott also provides service to his clients on a regional and national level and he routinely litigates matters across the United States. Scott’s practice encompasses all aspects of construction-related litigation, where he has substantial experience defending claims regarding design errors, construction deficiencies, construction management issues and product failures. Scott represents a wide variety of architects, engineers, real estate developers, general contractors, specialty contractors and product manufacturers. Scott also has significant experience in defending professionals in other industries, including real estate and insurance, from professional liability claims. In addition, Scott handles environmental claims resulting from construction activities, land development and hazardous materials exposure.

Scott’s practice is founded upon his accessibility and immediate responsiveness to his clients, his creation of successful and cost-effective case strategies, his detailed and thorough preparation and his accurate liability analysis that helps shape the handling of each individual case.
