Tom Packer Appointed Vice-Chair of Defense Research Institute - Europe

Gordon & Rees partner, Thomas Packer, was appointed Vice-Chair of Defense Research Institute (DRI)-Europe. Founded in 1960 with more than 22,000 members, DRI is the largest U.S. legal association for lawyers who represent business interests in regulatory matters, litigation and dispute resolution. DRI Europe, a new venture of DRI, consists of lawyers who practise throughout Europe and provides an open forum for in-house counsel and lawyers in private practice to freely exchange ideas and information. Mr. Packer served on the DRI's National Board of Directors, was Chair of DRI's 2006 Annual Meeting and was awarded the Outstanding Chair of the Year Award for his service as Chair of the Medical Liability and Health Care Law Committee.
