Gordon & Rees is pleased to announce that The Daily Transcript, a Southern California business newspaper, has named Miles Scully as one of the Top 10 Business Trial Attorneys in the area. Scully was selected among thousands of eligible business litigators and hundreds of attorneys who were nominated for the honor. At 43, he was among the youngest attorneys selected for any honor by the publication.
Significantly, the final selection for the Top 10 honor was determined by the final 30 semi-finalist business litigators reflecting Scully's reputation and standing in the legal community. This is the latest in a series of honors and awards Scully has received for his litigation skills, including several Trial Attorney of the Year awards. He has also received Martindale Hubbell's highest rating for his legal abilities and professionalism.
Scully is a former managing partner of the firm's Southern California offices in Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange County, which have grown from 10 to nearly 150 attorneys in the last six years. He now serves on the firm's executive committee with responsibilities for financial issues and strategic growth. He has helped the firm open offices in New York, Houston, Dallas, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Portland. Gordon & Rees is now one of the Top 200 firms in the country with about 300 attorneys in 11 offices throughout the country.
