Robert Schumacher to Speak at "What To Do When Construction Projects Go Bad in Nevada" Seminar

On July 14 in Las Vegas, Lorman Education Services will present the "What to Do When Construction Projects Go Bad in Nevada" seminar for attorneys, hotel executives and construction industry leaders.  The seminar will focus on the issues that arise during the construction process, including disputes surrounding termination, liens and bond claims.  The seminar has been approved for CLE credit.

Las Vegas Partner Robert Schumacher will conduct two presentations on the topics of "Commercial General Liability Policies" and "Wrap Insurance: OCIPs and CCIPs."  The first topic covers tendering a claim, SIRs and deductibles, single v. multiple occurrences, duty to defend vs. duty to indemnify, definition of "occurrence" and "covered property damage," important policy exclusions, and additional insureds.  The second topic covers the definition of a Wrap policy, pros and cons, scope of coverages and potential conflicts. Robert will also provide best practices advice based on an analysis of recent Nevada case law.
