Gordon & Rees Partner Craig Jacobson Co-Authors ABA Article on Recent Developments in Property Insurance Coverage Litigation

The American Bar Association’s quarterly edition of the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Law Journal recently published an article co-authored by Chicago partner Craig Jacobson.  In the article, titled “Recent Developments in Property Insurance Coverage Litigation,” Jacobson discusses recent noteworthy cases on a number of important property insurance coverage issues, including business interruption coverage, covered property limitations and the application of common exclusions such as ensuing loss, dishonest acts, faulty workmanship, and mold/water damage.

Jacobson concentrates his practice on the handling and litigation of complex insurance coverage disputes.  He regularly represents domestic and international insurers in matters involving coverage issues arising under property policies.  He has successfully litigated a number of major first-party property insurance coverage actions across the United States, including claims arising from the September 11 terrorist attacks and Hurricane Katrina.
