Gordon & Rees San Francisco partner Andrew Cary, co-chair of the firm's Electronic Discovery Group, was quoted in two articles that appeared in The National Law Journal’s Jan. 28 Special Report on E-Discovery and Technology.
In the article titled “Views From the Trenches: Trends in E-Discovery,” Cary discusses the creation of case law in 2012 that provides guidance on how to handle issues related to spoliation of evidence. In “Views From the Trenches: Practitioners’ Peeves,” Cary focuses on the importance of addressing disputes with opposing counsel related to electronically stored information early in the discovery process to avoid unnecessary costs associated with electronic discovery.
