The Network Journal Publishes Q&A With Atlanta Partner Alonzo Llorens

On July 17, The Network Journal published a Q&A with Gordon & Rees Atlanta partner Alonzo Llorens about the various stages of the capital raising process. In the article, titled “Business Expert Alonzo Llorens: Funding Sources You Might Have Overlooked,” Llorens provided guidance on the best sources available to fund business ventures and offered advice on how businesses can position themselves to attract investors.

Llorens, author of the book “MBE’s Guide to Raising Capital,” is an experienced business transactions attorney, focusing on public offerings, private offerings, mergers and acquisitions, formation of funds, strategic alliances, film financing and general corporate matters.

Before entering private practice, Llorens spent nearly eight years in Washington, D.C., with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Corporation Finance. Additionally, he served on the SEC's Executive Compensation Task Force and the Small Business Task Force.

Prior to working for the SEC, Llorens was selected to work as an attorney in the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Honors Program, which is offered to only four individuals each year who have exhibited academic excellence and leadership qualities.
