WSB Radio Interviews Gordon & Rees Partner Alonzo Llorens on "MBE's Guide To Raising Capital"

On June 30, Gordon & Rees Atlanta partner Alonzo Llorens was interviewed on WSB Radio’s public affairs program “Perspectives” about his published book titled the “MBE’s Guide To Raising Capital.” In the interview, Llorens discusses the process of raising capital and provides guidance on the best sources available to fund business ventures.  In addition, Llorens addresses entity structure, key components of a successful business plan and the benefits of the JOBS Act’s crowdfunding exemptions. 

 Llorens is an experienced business transactions attorney, focusing on public offerings, private offerings, mergers and acquisitions, formation of funds, strategic alliances, film financing and general corporate matters. Before entering private practice, Llorens spent nearly eight years in Washington, D.C., with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Corporation Finance. Additionally, he served on the SEC's Executive Compensation Task Force and the Small Business Task Force. Prior to working for the SEC, Llorens was selected to work as an attorney in the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Honors Program, which is offered to only four individuals each year who have exhibited academic excellence and leadership qualities.
