Gordon & Rees Partner Franz Hardy Serves as Program Vice Chair for DRI’s Diversity for Success Seminar

For the fifth year in a row, Gordon & Rees is a sponsor of the Defense Research Institute’s Diversity for Success Seminar and Diversity Expo. Denver partner Franz Hardy, serves as this year's program vice chair and diversity expo co-chair as well as moderator for one of the seminar presentations.

The seminar, to be held June 12-13 at the Swissôtel Chicago, will provide an in-depth look at diversity and inclusion initiatives in the law firm and corporate legal environments. From 10:35 a.m. to 11:35 a.m. on June 12, Hardy will moderate the panel titled “So You Made Partner, What Next?” Hardy and the panel will explore the ongoing struggle of newly minted and junior partners to receive the training and exposure they need to develop top clients and remain relevant within their law firms.

Hardy also serves as Gordon & Rees’s national Diversity Committee chair. His practice focuses on commercial and insurance litigation. He is recognized as an accomplished professional liability practitioner with a successful record representing scores of attorneys and law firms.

Hardy is the recipient of the 2012 Richard Marden Davis Award, presented each year by the Denver Bar Association to an attorney under age 40, in recognition of his excellence as a lawyer and his civic, cultural, educational, and charitable leadership. Hardy also is a past-president of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Colorado, a former five-year member of the board of directors for the Center for Legal Inclusiveness, and serves on the University of Colorado Law School's Alumni Board.
