Alexander Nemiroff Joins Gordon & Rees as Partner in Philadelphia Office

Alexander Nemiroff has joined Gordon & Rees as a partner in the Philadelphia office. He is a member of the firm’s Employment, Commercial Litigation, and Unfair Competition practice groups. Mr. Nemiroff joins the firm from labor and employment firm Ogletree Deakins.

Mr. Nemiroff litigates a wide variety of cases before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, including employment discrimination, workplace technology law, wrongful discharge, wage and hour law, and other matters. He has extensive experience in cases involving non-compete issues, trade secrets, tortious interference, and related claims.

Mr. Nemiroff has represented clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state administrative agencies in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Additionally, he has counseled clients on compliance with all aspects of labor and employment law, including litigation strategy, reviewing and drafting employee handbooks, workplace trainings, hiring and termination issues, wage payment issues, security and management of data, privacy, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, and compliance with state and federal leave laws. He also advises clients on social media risks and management, including ownership of social media, protecting digital media, e-discovery, cyber sabotage, BYOD, and social media policies.

Mr. Nemiroff is a frequent lecturer on various employment topics, speaking to a wide range of organizations. He has also written several published articles related to employment issues. Mr. Nemiroff earned his B.A. from Brandeis University, magna cum laude, and his J.D. from George Washington University Law School. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and has appeared in numerous state and federal courts nationwide.
