Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Elevates 10 to Partnership

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani recently elevated Alexis Amber, Brandon Carroll, Joseph Goodman, Geoffrey Lee, Amie Mihalko, Keith Murphy, Hazel Pangan, Lance Ream, Aaron Rudin, and Matthew Tessieri to partnership.

Alexis Amber is a partner in the Los Angeles office. She is a member of the employment practice group and her litigation practice includes defending clients against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and defamation. Amber also provides advice and counsel to clients on issues of best employment practices and policies, including hiring, firing and reductions in the work force, to help prevent costly litigation. Amber's experience in federal and state civil and administrative litigation also includes areas of medical malpractice, medical licensing, insurance fraud, asbestos, product liability, elder law, and long term care.

Brandon Carroll is a partner in the Seattle office and a member of the Construction and Real Estate practice groups. He represents and advises clients on a wide range of real estate and construction issues including acquisition/disposition, contracting, entitlement, development, leasing and related litigation.

Joseph Goodman is a San Diego partner who focuses his practice on representing corporations, officers and directors in complex business litigation in both federal and state courts. He has extensive experience in consumer and securities class action lawsuits.

Geoffrey Lee is a San Diego partner who primarily represents employers in defense of lawsuits and administrative claims for wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, failures to accommodate disabilities, failures to provide meal periods and rest breaks, and unpaid wages.  He has successfully defended against class actions and “Private Attorney General Act” lawsuits claiming Labor Code and Wage Order violations.  He also counsels employers throughout Southern California on best hiring practices, employee handbooks and employment policies, paid sick leave programs, and harassment prevention training for managers.  As a member of the Real Estate Practice Group, Mr. Lee also defends real estate brokers, sales agents, and home inspectors in litigation. 

Amie Mihalko is a partner in the Pittsburgh office and a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. She concentrates her practice in the area of civil litigation with a particular emphasis in the area of professional liability.

Keith Murphy is a partner in the New Jersey office and a member of the Insurance and Employment practice groups. He has extensive experience in employment litigation focusing on discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and restrictive covenant matters. He also represents insurance clients in state and federal court declaratory judgment litigation and complex insurance coverage matters.

Hazel Pangan is a partner in the San Diego office and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Commercial Litigation practice groups.  She has handled copyright, trademark, patent, antitrust, and other commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts.  She regularly represents clients in the consumer products and technology sectors, including the Internet services and software industries.

Lance Ream is a partner in the Denver office and handles a broad range of commercial litigation, primarily dealing with contractual disputes and business torts. Ream has substantial experience with ERISA and professional liability as well.  He regularly appears in state and federal courts, as well as administrative proceedings.

Aaron Rudin is a Los Angeles partner and member of the Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, Intellectual Property and Insurance practice groups. Rudin has represented several national real estate brokerage companies and title companies in numerous matters involving individual as well as class action claims, including claims of breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, fraud, unfair competition, and alleged Labor Code violations.

Matthew Tessieri is a San Diego partner who represents employers and management in a wide variety of employment and business related disputes.  Tessieri represents clients in matters involving employment claims including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, failure to accommodate, FMLA, wage and hour violations, and other violations of state and federal employment laws.  Tessieri also counsels employers regarding a variety of employment issues, including hiring, termination, leaves, compensation, disability, investigations, and employee handbooks.  Tessieri also represents clients in various business disputes including breach of contract, fraud, and other business torts.  He has experience handling matters on a local, regional, and national basis.
