Senior Counsel Jonathan Miles Joins the Houston Office

Jonathan Miles has joined Gordon & Rees’s Houston office as Senior Counsel.  He is a member of the Commercial Litigation, Construction, Professional Liability Defense and Appellate Practice groups.  Mr. Miles has a wide range of litigation and appellate experience in state and federal courts, including representing individual and business clients in commercial and contract disputes, advising banks on secured lending issues and litigating disputes with borrowers, defending architects and engineers in commercial construction defect disputes, defending broker/dealers in investment suitability litigation, and defending manufacturers in product liability and other tort matters.

In addition to his litigation and appellate experience, Mr. Miles has taught law school classes in secured transactions and bankruptcy, remedies, and contract drafting.

Mr. Miles earned his J.D, with honors, from Drake University Law School and his B.A. from Washington & Lee University.
