Stephen Tully to Speak at the State Bar of Arizona’s Annual Convention

Stephen Tully, co-managing partner of the Phoenix office and former house majority leader in the Arizona House of Representatives, will be presenting at the State Bar of Arizona’s Annual Convention on June 20th.

Mr. Tully will serve as a panel member and expert on legislative and judicial functions in a session entitled “Striking a Balance: Relations Between the Legislature and the Courts.”  He will be joined by co-panelists Sally Rider (Associate Dean for Administration at Rogers College of the Law), Clink Bolick (Vice President for Litigation at The Goldwater Institute), and Jerry Landau (Government Affairs Director for the Arizona Supreme Court).  The panel will address topics that include:

• How legislation affects judicial decision making.
• Recent legislation and court decision overview.
• The role of the State Bar.
• Additional proposals and what the future holds.
