The Orange County office was established in 2003. Led by Matthew Murphey and Douglas Smith, the Orange County office continues to grow and diversify its practice groups, which currently include Intellectual Property, Commercial Litigation, Professional Liability, Trust and Fiduciary Litigation, Tort Product Liability, Employment, Immigration, Aviation, Tax, Wealth Management & Probate, Construction, and Business Transactions.

The Orange County office has strong working relationships with clients such as Pacific Sunwear of California, TM Claims Services, The Salvation Army, Union Standard Insurance Group, Straub Distributing, Symbolic Motor Car Company, Seirus Innovation, the Anaheim Hills Planned Community Association, Life Technologies (formerly Invitrogen Corporation), Applied Biosystems, and Molecular Probes.

In 2008, the Orange County office established, and continues to maintain, a Diversity Bar Stipend award for the Orange County Women’s Lawyer Association. The Award is granted to an Orange County Law School graduate prior to his or her taking the bar examination. Applicants for the award must have ties to the Orange County area and actively demonstrate an interest in or participate in diversity related efforts in addition to having a diverse background.
