The Orange County office was established in 2003. Partner Matthew Murphey returned to Orange County in 2008, after three years in Texas where he laid the foundation for the Dallas office, as the managing partner with the goal of growing the office and diversifying its practice groups, which currently includes Intellectual Property, Appellate, Professional Liability, Business Transactions, Tort and Product Liability, Employment, Commercial Litigation, Immigration, Aviation and Tax, Wealth Management, and Probate.
The Orange County office has strong working relationships with clients such as Pacific Sunwear of California, TM Claims Services, The Salvation Army, Union Standard Insurance Group, Straub Distributing, Symbolic Motor Car Company, Seirus Innovation, and the Anaheim Hills Planned Community Association.
In 2008, the Orange County office established, and continues to maintain, a Diversity Bar Stipend award for the Orange County Women's Lawyer Association. The Award is granted to an Orange County Law School graduate prior to his or her taking the bar examination. Applicants for the award must have ties to the Orange County area and actively demonstrate an interest in or participate in diversity related efforts in addition to having a diverse background.
