The American Bar Association recently published an article in Under Construction by Jamie Mayrose of the Phoenix office.
The article, titled “A ‘Simple’ Explanation of the Economic-Loss Rule,” takes an in-depth look at the economic-loss rule and attempts to clarify some of the confusion surrounding the interpretation and application of the rule.
Mayrose is senior counsel in Gordon & Rees's Phoenix office. As a member of the firm’s construction practice group, she has successfully represented developers, general contractors, and architects in a wide variety of matters. She also represents both national and local residential homebuilders in construction defect litigation.
