Business Transaction Team Completes Complex Mining Asset Sale

Rob Larsen (NV) led a team comprised of Mark Davis (SF), Rich Clampitt (SD) and Eric Young (SD) in the completion of a complex asset sale which included an operating aggregate mining operation and mineral rights to two other properties. The transaction involved refinancing mortgage debt, new long-term leases, acquisition of new mineral rights from the BLM, assignment of various permits and licenses, non-compete agreements, and a consulting agreement. Negotiations on the transaction took more than a year to complete. Mark Davis and Rich Clampitt assisted with an opinion letter required by the buyer and Eric Young assisted with analysis of priority issues.
