Why Should You Consider Franchising as a Growth Strategy?
According to the International Franchise Association, the U.S. franchise industry creates 18 million jobs, consists of 830,000 franchised establishments, and generates $1.2 trillion in gross domestic product.  In 2011, PricewaterhouseCoopers estimates an important increase in each of those areas – and your bottom line could benefit from these increases if you become a franchisor.

  • The value of goods and services produced by franchising will grow an
average of 4.7% in 2011 across 10 business lines, with retail and personal
services growing 6% and automotive and commercial and residential
       services growing 7%.
  • The number of franchised establishments will increase an average of 2.5%
in 2011 across 10 business lines, with automotive, lodging and retail
        growing  4%.
