Phillip Maltin to Speak on Lie Detection at DRI Employment and Labor Law Seminar

Los Angeles partner Phillip Maltin will present his nationally-recognized program, "Dishonesty Exposed! The Truth About Deception Detection and the Unintended Messages People Let Slip" at the Defense Research Institute's 34th annual Employment and Labor Law Seminar, May 18-20, 2011 at Westin Kierland in Scottsdale, Arizona. Using his research-based system, Mr. Maltin teaches participants how to identify subtle behaviors associated with dishonesty. During the interactive session, attendees will view and analyze video clips of people in unscripted moments as they learn using Mr. Maltin's READ? System. The ability to determine whether someone is telling the truth is invaluable, whether for leaders in the workplace or lawyers in litigation. Mr. Maltin is an experienced employment attorney and criminal prosecutor and is trained in lie detection techniques.

The conference is one of North America's preeminent annual educational events for employment defense counsel, management-side labor attorneys, in-house counsel, human resources professionals and insurance industry professionals.
