Gordon & Rees Announces 2014 National Employment Law Webinar Series

On Jan. 14, Gordon & Rees will launch its 2014 National Employment Law Webinar Series – monthly events that focus on current and emerging employment law issues for large and small companies.

Each live, one-hour webinar will provide attendees with free, practical training on important legal trends and actions they can take to protect themselves and their employees.  Gordon & Rees attorneys will provide in-house counsel, human resources professionals, payroll managers, and others with a convenient way to stay up to speed so they can make well-informed employment decisions on a day-to-day basis and avoid the expense and uncertainty of litigation. 

Attorneys in one of Gordon & Rees’s 30 offices nationwide will present each monthly webinar.  The San Diego office will kick-off the first webinar in the series, “Looking Ahead: The Top Employment Law Issues for 2014,” at 9 a.m. PST on Jan. 14. Gordon & Rees’s Stacey M. Cooper and Brian S. Fong will offer an overview of recent changes in employment law and forecast what HR departments and professionals need to know for 2014.  Topics include class actions and wage-and-hour trends, expansion of paid family leave benefits, regulations on pregnancy discrimination, social media in the workplace, and much more.
