Gordon & Rees to Present Aug. 12 Webinar on Workplace Stress and Mental Illness Leaves of Absence

As part of the firm’s 2014 National Employment Law Webinar Series, Gordon & Rees will hold a webinar titled “Mental Ergonomics: How to Handle Workplace Stress & Mental Illness Leaves of Absence” on Aug. 12 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. PDT.

The live webinars offer free, practical training on current and emerging employment law issues for large and small companies. Gordon & Rees attorneys provide in-house counsel, human resources professionals, payroll managers, and others with a convenient way to stay up to speed so they can make well-informed employment decisions on a day-to-day basis and avoid the expense and uncertainty of litigation.

For the August webinar, Los Angeles partner Phillip Maltin and San Diego partner Stacey Cooper will discuss accommodation requirements related to mental illness and stress and how employers should handle the leave process, especially since such leaves rarely have certain end dates. A Q&A session will follow the webinar.
