Gordon & Rees Phoenix partner Leon Silver will present at DRI’s Beyond the Borders: Emerging Issues in Business Litigation Seminar, to be held June 4-5 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

This first-of-its-kind seminar will bring together United States and Canadian lawyers to “discuss emerging trends and developments in business litigation.” Silver will present on June 4 at 4:30 p.m. His presentation titled “You’re Going to Get Breached, but You Don’t Have to Get Sued” will focus on the “critical steps and protocols companies should take to protect themselves from data breaches, as well as risk management tips for outside counsel when working with clients in this area.” Joining him on the panel will be the Global Group Counsel for IT, Privacy & Security for Intel Corp., Dan Christensen.

Silver currently serves as Co-Chair of the Cybersecurity SLG of the Commercial Litigation Committee for DRI. He is a co-managing partner at Gordon & Rees’ Phoenix office and a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Retail & Hospitality, and Privacy & Data Security Practice Groups. With more than 25 years of experience handling complicated business and real estate trials and arbitrations, Silver has a proven record of success in the most difficult, high dollar disputes the firm's clients have faced.
