Gordon & Rees to Present September 19 Webinar on Avoiding Malpractice Exposure and Civil Liability During Settlement Negotiations

As part of the firm’s 2018 National Professional Liability Webinar Series, Gordon & Rees will hold a webinar titled “Avoiding Malpractice Exposure and Civil Liability During Settlement Negotiations,” on September 19 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PST.

The live, bi-monthly webinars offer free, practical tips on current and emerging legal issue for professionals to more effectively manage their practice. Gordon & Rees attorneys provide claims professionals, in house and general counsel, and attorneys in all practice areas with a convenient way to stay up to speed with simple steps they can implement to protect themselves and their firms from malpractice exposure.

For the September webinar, attorneys from Gordon & Rees’s Professional Liability Defense Practice Group will identify the professional duties that are triggered when negotiating a settlement. Gordon & Rees partner John Fraher, senior counsel Scott McCaskill, and associate Tricia Pham will educate counsel on ethical obligations that arise in connection with negotiations in order to help minimize malpractice and civil claims exposure. A Q&A session will follow the webinar.
