As an Associate practicing in the Medicare Compliance Group at Gordon & Rees, Amanda E. Palbus, assists clients with the resolution of Medicare compliance issues that arise in the settlement of workers’ compensation and general liability claims. She currently practices in the firm’s Pittsburgh office.

Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Ms. Palbus worked as an associate in another national Medicare practice group concentrating on compliance issues in institutional settings. Prior to that she was a law clerk and research attorney focusing on wills and estates issues in Pittsburgh.

Ms. Palbus earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Political Science and History from Chatham University. She graduated cum laude in May of 2004. While at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor, Ms. Palbus was an Associate Editor for the University’s Pittsburgh Tax Review as well as a Certified Legal Intern for the Taxpayer Clinic.

Ms. Palbus is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Bar Association.
