Eulalio J. Garcia is a Partner with GRSM and practices in the firm’s Southern California offices.  Before joining the firm, Eulalio successfully co-founded and served as the managing partner of his own law firm for over a decade.  Eulalio has over 23 years of complex litigation experience. 

Eulalio has an extensive background in employment law.  He has successfully defended employers in a wide range of employment claims, administrative hearings, lawsuits and appeals.  He is also particularly skilled in serving as lead attorney in complex business and general liability cases having represented business owners, professionals (attorneys, accountants and design professionals) and large companies in hundreds of claims and lawsuits.  Eulalio’s varied experience includes successfully defending lawsuits involving product liability claims, environmental/toxic torts, officers and directors liability claims, contract and business torts, professional liability and construction matters. 

Eulalio has served as an arbitrator in San Diego Superior Court and as a mediator.  He is a panelist for continuing legal education programs and has been an instructor for the University of California, San Diego extension program.  He has achieved the highest peer review rating of AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell.  Eulalio is fluent in Spanish and often provides counsel to clients having bilingual needs.

• Substantial trial experience on a broad range of matters including employment law, fraud, insurance broker liability, professional liability, personal injury and insurance matters.
• Secured multiple summary judgments as a matter of law on behalf of employers, business owners and professionals on various employment and professional liability matters.
• Successfully briefed and argued numerous appeals in California Court of Appeals, Fourth District, Division One, with resulting published opinions such as Snapp & Associates Insurance Services, Inc. v. Robertson-Rock Insurance Agency (2002) 96 Cal. App. 4th 887. 
• Lead attorney in hundreds of employment law matters successfully defending allegations of discrimination, wrongful discharge, sexual harassment and wage and hour violations, with numerous resulting dismissals, defense judgments and favorable settlements.
• Favorably prosecuted several claims on behalf of employers against former employees for breach of non-compete agreements and misappropriation of trade secrets. 
• Successfully defended numerous manufacturers on product liability, warranty, personal injury and wrongful death claims involving pharmaceutical products, building materials, automotive products and consumer goods, often with concurrent claims of catastrophic injuries. 
• Defended a broad range of construction lawsuits involving contract disputes, lease issues, standard of care claims and construction defects, representing developers, subcontractors and design professionals. 
• Successfully secured multiple dismissals, defense judgments and favorable settlements on behalf of legal and accounting professionals on a variety of professional liability claims.
