Ian Williamson is a partner with the firm's Environmental/Toxic Tort and Construction practice groups. Mr. Williamson has experience handling insurance coverage litigation, construction litigation, business litigation, and insurance defense for construction defect and general liability.

Mr. Williamson currently represents several construction and automotive industry clients in the defense of asbestos claims.

In the construction field, Mr. Williamson has advised and represented clients in contract negotiation, mechanic's lien claims, construction contract disputes and construction defect litigation. Mr. Williamson has represented such general contractor entities as RG Petty Construction, Melhorn Construction, Nielsen Construction Company, The Daley Company, RE Hazard Contracting and numerous others. He has also represented and advised institutional property owners on construction issues. Mr. Williamson has represented virtually every sub-trade from underground utilities to roofing and skylights in both commercial and residential construction. Mr. Williamson is currently General Counsel to a number of construction-industry clients. Mr. Williamson has also represented design professionals in malpractice claims.
