Jennifer S. McGeorge is Senior Counsel in the Los Angeles office of Gordon & Rees and is a member of the Employment practice group. Ms. McGeorge specializes in representing public and private employers in class, collective, and representative actions alleging claims for wage and hour violations.

Ms. McGeorge has secured numerous verdicts and decisions in favor of employers, including as lead counsel in state and federal court trials, in matters before the State Labor Commissioner, and in arbitration. Ms. McGeorge has written and argued Writ Petitions before California Courts of Appeal, and is a zealous advocate for her employer clients.

Ms. McGeorge’s practice also includes advising clients in human resources and personnel matters, such as employee discipline, terminations, leaves of absence, discrimination, and wage and hour issues. Ms. McGeorge further specializes in drafting employment contracts, severance agreements, employment policies, and employee handbooks.

Ms. McGeorge received her undergraduate B.A. degree in Political Science from UCLA in 1999 and her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, with a concentration in Intellectual Property in 2002. During law school, Ms. McGeorge was a member of the McGeorge Law Review, where she published an article which received the Stauffer Charitable Trust Award for excellence in legal writing and analysis. In law school, Ms. McGeorge received Honors in Trial Advocacy, and was the Chief Articles Editor for The Transnational Lawyer.
