Jonathan B. Blakley enjoys a varied practice, with emphasis on health care law, product liability, general liability for educational institutions, professional liability, employment law, and environmental/toxic tort matters. In the environmental/toxic tort realm, he has focused on in-depth evaluation of causation and damages issues. He has experience in all phases of high-exposure and/or complex litigation, and has provided counsel regarding regulatory compliance.
Mr. Blakley holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College, and a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law. As a law student, Mr. Blakley earned Dean’s List recognition, and received CALI Awards (from the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction) for his coursework in Genetics and the Law, Entertainment Law, and Electronic Discovery. Further, Mr. Blakley gained experience working as a law clerk at a prominent Plaintiff’s firm during law school.
