Joseph Arnold is a partner in Gordon & Rees’s Philadelphia office. Mr. Arnold’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on commercial contract disputes and insurance coverage matters. Mr. Arnold has substantial experience representing insurance companies in a wide range of complex first- and third-party insurance coverage disputes involving food contamination and product recall, long-tail toxic tort and environmental, large-scale construction defects, first party property, public entity, professional liability, advertising injury, and bad faith claims. Mr. Arnold also has experience providing insurers with compliance and underwriting advice.
Mr. Arnold also served as a law clerk to the Hon. Joel A. Pisano, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, for the 2004-2005 term.

Mr. Arnold is dedicated to the fight against Lupus. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Lupus Foundation of America’s Board of Directors, and he also serves as Chair of the Chapter Development Committee. He previously served as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Lupus Foundation’s Philadelphia Tri¬State Chapter. He performs pro bono legal services for the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia and spent many years on the sidelines as a basketball coach in the youth and college ranks.
