Kathryn Hull is a senior counsel in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group. Her practice focuses on patent prosecution and trademark prosecution. She has extensive experience in developing and implementing global intellectual property strategies for clients in the chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, material science, medical devices, and consumer products fields.
Her patent experience includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications, evaluating technologies for patentability and freedom to operate, patent validity analysis, patent infringement analysis, competitive landscape analysis, competitor monitoring, and due diligence. Her trademark experience includes preparing and prosecuting trademark applications, cancellation proceedings, and conducting trademark clearance searches.
Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Ms. Hull worked in-house at a molecular diagnostic company. In addition to her legal experience, Ms. Hull also has extensive bench experience in molecular biology, cellular biology, and biochemistry from working in several laboratories before becoming an attorney.
