Matthew J. Broderick is an associate attorney in the Denver office.  He is a trial attorney with a focus on health care and professional liability litigation, including medical malpractice and legal malpractice.  He also has experience defending actions concerning employment disputes, civil rights and municipality actions, and consumer protection claims.  Mr. Broderick has an active state and federal court practice, and he often advocates on behalf at his clients at hearings and trial.    
 
Mr. Broderick’s trial experience helps him work closely with clients to develop effective litigation strategies, to obtain early dispute resolution when appropriate, and to defend actions when necessary. Additionally, Mr. Broderick’s trial experience helps shape discovery plans that are both efficient and effective, balancing proportionality concerns with the needs at trial.  Through these strategies, he is proud to have represented physicians, nurses, and health care facilities throughout Colorado.   
 
Mr. Broderick holds multiple positions in Colorado’s legal community.  Currently, he serves as a Board Member on the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, where he focuses efforts on the education and mentoring of new lawyers.  Additionally, Mr. Broderick is a Council Member on the Denver Bar Association-Young Lawyers Division.  As a Council Member, he helped create inter-professional networking groups to encourage young attorneys to develop professional contacts with financial planners, insurance agents, and certified public accountants.  Last, Mr. Broderick serves on the Denver Bar Association’s Bench-Bar Committee, which is designed to improve communication between practitioners and judges throughout the state.
