Miguel A. Saldaña is an associate in the San Francisco office of Gordon & Rees. His practice is devoted to bankruptcy law, commercial litigation, and drug and medical device litigation.  He represents corporate clients in all aspects of litigation.

Mr. Saldaña’s bankruptcy law experience involves representation of bankruptcy trustees, creditors, and debtors in bankruptcy and adversary proceedings.  Mr. Saldaña has extensive experience representing chapter 7 panel trustees with both asset recovery and sales.  He also has experience litigating fraudulent transfer (voidable transfer) actions in high-profile bankruptcy cases in different jurisdictions. 

His commercial litigation practice involves defending class actions along with other complex matters both in state and federal court.  He has litigated cases with claims involving financial services, consumer fraud, breach of contract, unfair business practices, and civil rights.

Mr. Saldaña’s drug and medical device experience includes defending a manufacturer of pharmaceuticals and medical devices in a high-stakes mass tort case with national implications.  As well, Mr. Saldaña has assisted in drug and medical device matters involving domestic and international pharmaceutical companies.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Saldaña worked at a law firm in Southern California and also clerked for the Honorable William J. Lafferty III in Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California.
