Nicole Chomiak has over 20 years of experience defending clients in employment disputes, civil rights, and general liability matters. Ms. Chomiak recognizes that each case is unique and uses a common sense approach early on to achieve her clients’ goals. Although she has successfully tried several jury cases, she also recognizes that not every case should be tried, and seeks the best resolution for her clients. Ms. Chomiak truly listens to her clients and keeps them involved in the legal process every step of the way.

Ms. Chomiak regularly appears before Connecticut’s and Massachusetts’ State and Federal Courts, as well as Connecticut’s Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, Massachusetts’ Commission Against Discrimination, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Ms. Chomiak also argued before the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and was instrumental in the drafting of the appellate brief in the case of Ricci v. DeStefano, which was appealed to the Supreme Court of the United States.  Ms. Chomiak is rated by her peers as “AV” Preeminent under the Martindale Peer Review rating system where it was noted that “her knowledge of the law is only surpassed by her class as a professional.”
