Petra N. Ambrose is a Washington, D.C. native whose practice has focused on civil litigation, with an emphasis on representation of general contractors and developers in both commercial and residential construction defect litigation. Other practice areas include commercial litigation, personal injury, professional liability, insurance bad faith, and premises liability, as well as insurance coverage matters.
While in law school, Ms. Ambrose served as Executive Articles Editor on the St. John’s Journal of Legal Commentary. She served a one-year term as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Patrick J. Roma of the Superior Court of New Jersey, as well as a two-year term as Supreme Court appointed mediator for the State of Nevada’s Foreclosure Mediation Program.
After practicing primarily in Las Vegas, Nevada, she moved to Seattle in December of 2014 and began working at an insurance defense firm shortly thereafter, where her practice focused on construction defect litigation, construction accidents, personal injury, and commercial litigation. She is licensed to practice in Washington, Nevada, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia.
