Petra N. Ambrose is Senior Counsel in the Seattle office. She is a Washington, D.C. native whose practice has focused on civil litigation, with a current emphasis on professional liability (directors/officers and professional malpractice, including medical, accounting, and architects/engineers), as well as representation of general contractors in personal injury and construction-related litigation. Other practice areas include general commercial litigation and insurance bad faith. She has extensive experience litigating cases in both state and federal courts in Nevada and Washington, and has obtained numerous successful results, including dismissals, on behalf of her clients.
While in law school, Ms. Ambrose served as Executive Articles Editor on the St. John’s Journal of Legal Commentary. She served a one-year term as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Patrick J. Roma of the Superior Court of New Jersey, as well as a two-year term as Supreme Court appointed mediator for the State of Nevada’s Foreclosure Mediation Program.
After practicing primarily in Las Vegas, Nevada, Ms. Ambrose moved to Seattle in December of 2014 and began practicing in Washington in early 2015. She is licensed to practice in Washington, Nevada, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia.
