Rhonda R. Adato is an associate attorney in the Gordon & Rees San Diego office with a strong background in real estate, business litigation, and civil liability. Ms. Adato has served as a key player in complex litigation cases, and has authored pleadings, motions, and memoranda for a variety of clients, including corporate entities, growing start-ups, and family trusts.

Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Ms. Adato was an associate at a highly respected mid-size law firm specializing in multi-party business litigation. Ms. Adato also served as an associate at a full-service San Diego law firm where she specialized in San Diego housing issues, including labor laws, homelessness and civil liability. Ms. Adato also served as an intern for the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia, the Chula Vista City Attorney, AT&T Services, Inc. and the Federal Communications Commission.

Ms. Adato attended The George Washington University Law School, where she served as the articles editor for the Federal Communications Law Journal and vice president of the Law Association for Women. She also chaired the Student Bar Association’s Diversity Committee. Ms. Adato received Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and History of Art from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was named valedictorian for the history of art department.

Ms. Adato is a member of the San Diego Bar Association, including its New Lawyer division and Civil Litigation and Business & Corporate Law sections, the San Diego Lawyers Club, and the Enright Inn of Court.
