Richard J. Anderson II is an Associate in the Miami office of GRSM. His practice focuses on employment, construction, general liability, and commercial litigation. To that end, Richard has leveraged his first-hand experience in the service, construction, and oil & gas industries to garner extensive insider knowledge as it relates to the valuation and defense of claims.
While at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Richard served as Executive Vice President of the Florida Trial Team and founded the Gator Law Adoption Day (GLAD) celebration that hosted and celebrated the finalizations of the adoptions of over forty children into their new “forever families” in just two days. Additionally, while he was a third-year law student, he successfully argued an interlocutory appeal before Florida’s Second District Court of Appeals and obtained a reversal of the Circuit Court’s ruling on a creditor-opposed Petition to Determine Homestead.
Richard approaches all aspects of civil litigation with the goal of achieving the best possible client outcomes in the most expedient and cost-effective manner. He is a Tampa, Florida native; a mediocre (but improving) golfer; and a lifelong Tampa Bay sports fan.
