Russell M. Mortyn is Senior Counsel in the San Francisco office of Gordon & Rees and is a member of the Tort & Product Liability practice group. Mr. Mortyn has more than 20 years of experience representing clients in professional and general liability actions, with an emphasis on the defense of health care providers, attorneys, law firms and other businesses. He has more recently focused on catastrophic injury cases, including traumatic brain injury (“TBI”) cases, as well as handling fraud and consumer warranty cases in both state and federal court.
He has successfully taken more than 30 litigated matters to decision on behalf of his clients in addition to obtaining numerous dismissals and favorable rulings on summary judgment motions and “anti-SLAPP” motions.
