Sara Reese is a member of the Employment practice group of Gordon & Rees. She has held in-house litigation counsel positions at Macy’s Inc., E&J Gallo Winery, and Southern California Edison Company. Her practice focuses on employment law, workplace investigations, litigation strategy, dispute resolution, and employee training.
Ms. Reese has extensive experience managing employment litigation, including multiple wage-and-hour class actions, as well as representing clients in proceedings before the EEOC, DFEH and other government agencies. She assists clients with the defense of suits involving sexual and racial harassment, racial and gender-based discrimination, ADA violations, FMLA violations, and other statutory and common law claims.
Ms. Reese has designed and conducted training on litigation prevention, harassment and discrimination, and how to conduct investigations. She regularly drafts policies, procedures, compliance manuals, releases and other employee communications.
