Shaleemar “Lee” A. de los Reyes is an associate in the Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, and Professional Liability practice groups. She represents public entities and private businesses and their senior personnel against various legal claims, including harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, hostile work environment, and whistleblower claims.
Ms. de los Reyes also handles commercial litigation matters such as subrogation claims, enforcing franchise agreements, legal compliance, and debt collection. Her practice includes matters in State and Federal courts, as well as before State civil rights agencies and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Ms. de los Reyes has extensive experience in all stages of litigation including initial investigations, discovery, research, case evaluation, pleading and agreement drafting, motion practice, depositions, mediation and court appearances.
Ms. de los Reyes has also practiced in a wide range of additional areas of the law including public entity defense, medical malpractice defense, real estate litigation and transactions, will drafting, estate administration, municipal court, and criminal law.
Early in her legal career, Ms. de los Reyes served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Paul W. Armstrong, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey. She gained invaluable experience in the courtroom and was involved in drafting opinions of the court and mediating small claims matters. Significantly, she assisted Judge Armstrong, the Chairman of the New Jersey Drug Court Judge’s Committee, in implementing a pilot program in compliance with New Jersey’s newly revised Drug Court legislation.
