Mr. Watson began his practice at Gordon & Rees in the firm’s San Francisco office handling complex mass product liability and commercial litigation cases for the firm’s Fortune 500 pharmaceutical clients. He then practiced for seven years in Quinn Emmanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP’s Silicon Valley office, representing some of the largest technology clients in the world and working on some of the most prolific intellectual property and commercial litigation cases in the country, including Apple vs. Samsung, Mattel vs. MGA, and for the Federal Housing Finance Agency in its landmark RMBS litigation against several of the world’s largest banks.
Mr. Watson currently maintains a national practice and focuses on representing clients in high-stakes complex commercial and intellectual property litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country. He has handled trade secret, trademark/trade dress, copyright, patent infringement, false advertising, structured finance, unfair competition, breach of contract and partnership dissolution disputes. Mr. Watson also litigates on behalf of pharmaceutical and medical device companies in both single action and mass tort litigation.
Mr. Watson has been a member of several high-profile trial teams for cases receiving national attention, and has extensive arbitration and mediation experience before various arbitration/mediation bodies (including the AAA and JAMS).
