Tyler Tarney litigates and manages risk in complex commercial, mass tort, class action, wage-and-hour, and employment cases.

He was recently appointed national Liaison Counsel for hundreds of federal cases in the opioid Multi-District Litigation (MDL). He has argued and won multiple Sixth Circuit appeals, handled cases with bet-the-company exposure and national media attention, successfully defended and defeated injunctions in high-stakes trade secret disputes, conducted several hundred depositions, and defended numerous class and collective actions in Ohio, other states, and before the Ohio Supreme Court.

Tyler also teaches Electronic Discovery as an Adjunct Law Professor. In law school, he graduated third in his class while a law clerk at a regional defense firm, on the Law Review Executive Board, and an extern for Sixth Circuit Judge Jeffrey Sutton. At Penn State, he played on the Men’s Golf Team.
