Served as lead counsel for Chubb Group of Insurance Companies in a case argued in the U.S. Supreme Court entitled Travelers Indemnity v. Chubb Indemnity, 129 S.Ct. 2195 (2009). The case was remanded to the 2nd Circuit where Chubb prevailed on its due process/notice argument.

Bill has served as national coordinating counsel for major property and casualty insurer. Claims included bad faith claim handling, spoliation, class action, excess verdict/time limit demand cases, including $55 million California burn case.
Pollution Liability Hazardous Waste
Bill has handled scores of large pollution/hazardous waste cases over the past 20 years, including defense of corporate defendants in CERCLA/RCRA cases in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois.
