Wing Yan Wong is an associate in the Las Vegas office and is a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group.
Ms. Wong maintains a diverse litigation practice in state and federal court through both trial and appellate levels. Her practice focuses primarily in the area of commercial litigation, including but not limited to, business torts, contract claims, common interest community law, and foreclosure litigation. Within these areas, she represents companies in copyright, trademark, and trade dress disputes. She also defends and counsels clients in matters related to various state and federal consumer protection statutes, such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act. She regularly defends clients in areas of legal, accounting, broker, and other professional agency malpractice claims.
Ms. Wong serves as office co-liaison to the Firm's Diversity Committee and is involved in local diversity and inclusion initiatives in the Las Vegas office.
Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Ms. Wong was an associate at a local law firm, concentrating on insurance defense and common interest community law. Ms. Wong was also a legal intern with the Hong Kong Department of Intellectual Property. While attending law school, Ms. Wong served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Susan H. Johnson of the Eighth Judicial District Court of Clark County, Nevada.
